  1. Conditions of sale

 

In addition to the Terms and Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy, the purchase of products offered for sale on the alikicollection.com website (the “Website”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions of Sale. Products purchased on the Website are sold directly by Aliki Sakalaridi ("Aliki"), with VAT number MT27148909. Throughout the Website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Aliki.

 

We may update these Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time without prior notice by posting them on this Website. You can view the most current version of the Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time by clicking on the link "Terms and Conditions of Sale" at the footer of the Website.

 

For each order you place on the Website, you agree and accept the Terms and Conditions of Sale in force as of the date of your order. We reserve the right to change the products offered for sale on the Website at any time and without notice.

 

All orders may only be placed on the Website by customers purchasing product not intended for resale. Any resale of Aliki products purchased on the Website is strictly prohibited. Therefore, you declare and guarantee that you act as a final consumer and that you do not intend to resell Aliki products for commercial purposes.

 

Should you have any questions regarding the Terms and Conditions of Sale, or for any further information on orders and shipping, refunds and returns of products purchased on the Website, please contact our Customer Service at info@alikicollection.com.

    2. Placing an order, order confirmation and product availability

To place an order for the purchase of one or more products on the Website, you must fill out the online order form and send it electronically to us, following the relevant instructions.

 

The order form contains information on the main characteristics of each product ordered and the corresponding unit price, the quantity selected, the type of payment methods that you may use in order to purchase each product and the total amount owed for your order. You should check that this information accurately reflects your selection before confirming your order.

 

The order shall be deemed to have been submitted when we receive your order form electronically and the order information has been verified as correct. Upon confirmation, your order will be submitted to us for processing. You will receive an order summary by email. The order form will be filed in our database for the time required to process your order and as provided by law.

 

Aliki reserves the right to reject or to cancel your order in its sole discretion for any reason without liability if, among other things, orders are incomplete or incorrect, or the products are no longer available or they are incorrectly priced or otherwise incorrectly described. In the above cases, we shall inform you by email that the order has not been placed and that we have not carried out your purchase order specifying the reasons thereof. If the products displayed on the Website are no longer available after you have placed your order, we will inform you by email or by telephone as soon as possible. You will be invited to choose another available product on the Website as substitution for the unavailable product or to cancel your order. If you cancel your order, you will be refunded if your credit card or debit card has been charged.

 

While every effort is taken to try to ensure that the colouring, design and style of Aliki products in the photographs displayed on the Website are representative of the original products, variations may occur due to technical restrictions of colour reproduction on your computer or mobile device.  Accordingly, Aliki shall not be liable for any error or inaccuracy in the photographs or graphical representations of Aliki products displayed on the Website.

   3. Price Payment

 

All prices of Aliki products are indicated in Euros. We reserve the right to modify the prices of products offered on the Website at any time without prior notice. You will be charged the prices displayed on the Website at the time your order was confirmed provided the product ordered is available.

Payment is due immediately upon confirmation of your order. Credit and debit cards are the only methods accepted for payment on the Website. Your order will only be shipped once we have verified your payment method and received authorization to process your payment.

If you pay with credit card or debit card, your financial information (for example, the credit/debit card number or the expiry date) will be sent to an external payment service provider (PSP) who, via a certified encrypted protocol, guarantees the security of the transaction. Your financial information will never be used by Aliki except for performing the procedure relevant to your purchase or issuing refunds in the case of returns in compliance with the exercise of your return right or for reporting cases of fraud on the Website to the police.

   4. Shipping and Delivery of the products

Products will be shipped to the delivery address specified when placing your order. Shipping costs are calculated on the basis of the products selected, the total value of your order, the destination address and the shipping method selected. Please note that orders from outside European Union may suffer additional duty charges according to local custom regulation (we invite you to verify local taxes and duties before placing an order), while all European Union orders are free of additional duty charges.

At the beginning of the ordering process, we will provide you with the time frame required for delivery and the various shipment methods available for the purchased products and country of delivery.

You will be asked to select the shipment method you would prefer as part of the order procedure. We will inform you of the shipping costs for the shipment method you select in the order summary displayed on the Website before you confirm your order. This amount will be payable by you in addition to the price of the products ordered.

We aim to dispatch all orders as soon as possible. Estimated delivery times are to be used only as a reference and will commence from the shipping date; we are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes and/or unanticipated delays (such as strikes, custom procedures, etc.).

Please also note that: (i) orders may require a signature upon receipt; (ii) we are unable to redirect orders once items have been shipped, so please ensure there is someone who can sign for your order at the specified shipping address; (iii) the courier does not deliver to P.O. Boxes; (iv) if the courier does not find anyone at the indicated address, it will try to deliver the package two more times, leaving a card with instructions on each occasion.

The couriers deliver 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The couriers do not deliver on holidays. You can track and check the current status of your shipment by signing into your account and visiting the orders section.

From time to time, we run free shipping promotions. Please note that free shipping promotions will be applied to your order at checkout. In the event that you need to return an item that you bought during a free shipping promotion we will not refund the outbound shipping costs (since it was free).

Any failure to deliver or late delivery, exceeding the delivery times stated in your order must be reported to our Customer Service via email as soon as possible. No claims notified to us more than thirty (30) calendar days from the date of confirmation of your order will be taken into account.

In the event of failure to adhere to the delivery time, you can cancel the order by email and we will refund you the amount paid in accordance with our refund policy. However, if you receive the product after having exercised this right, you must return it in accordance with the return procedure indicated in the section “Returns – Exchanges – Refunds” below.

You should check that your shipment is correct upon delivery. If there are any discrepancies in your order when the products are delivered to you, you should note the nature of the potential discrepancy (e.g., open package, damaged product, etc.) by hand, if possible, on the delivery note, and sign it.

If the products do not conform to your order or you are not satisfied with them, you may return them, exchange them or request a refund according to the procedures contained in the section "Returns - Exchanges - Refunds" below.  

   5. Returns – Exchanges - Refunds

 

a) Returns

 

You have the right of withdrawal of your order, without any penalty and without providing a reason, up to fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receiving your order. Therefore, If the products you purchased do not conform to your order or you are not satisfied with them you may return them for exchange or refund within fourteen (14) calendar days from the delivery date.

If you exercise your right to return the products, we may refuse to accept products that are damaged, without the tag or which have been altered in their main characteristics or quality. Please make sure that the products are returned new, unused, with the original labels and inside the original packaging as returns that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted and will not be refunded. You will be notified if the returned products cannot be accepted due to failure to comply with the conditions set out in this policy. In this case, you may choose to have the products returned to you at your own expense. If you refuse this delivery, we reserve the right to retain the products and the amount paid for your purchase of the products.

After receiving your return, we will check if the quality of the products returned meets our policy and, if it does, we will proceed with the refund or the exchange.

Returning a product for exchange or refund is free of charge as long as you return the products to us via our carrier by using our system of pre-paid return labels. 

To arrange your free return, simply follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer service via email at info@alikicollection.com, providing your order number and information on the product you would like to return;

  • Download and print your pre-paid return label and attach it to the outside of the box and remove any original shipping label;

  • Book your free collection online at DHL.com or over the phone contacting DHL customer service. Alternatively, you can drop your package at your nearest DHL point;

  • To book your free collection you will need the 10-digit waybill number which you can find located under the barcode of your printed return label that appears as “WAYBILL XX XXXX XXXX”.

 

If you do not wish to use the pre-paid label service, you can return your package at your charge (shipping expenses for the return in this case will not be refunded), with the products you want to return in its original packaging to the following address:

Aliki Sakalaridi, Maisonette 169 Zircon Suites, Triq Ruzar Briffa, Mosta MST1491, Malta.

In this case, you will have to pay for the cost of return shipping and you will be responsible in case of loss or damage to the products during transport.

b) Refunds

 

If you request a refund, after we receive the returned products and check that all the requirements of our return policy have been met, we will refund you the price of the products purchased and returned on the same payment method used for the original purchase (shipping costs will not be refunded). Refunds can take several business days to reflect on your debit/credit card account. This varies depending on your financial institution. Once your return is processed and your refund is issued, you will receive a refund confirmation email.

If your order has been sent to a destination within the European Union, all sales taxes will be refunded. Outside the European Union, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs office directly.

​c) Exchanges

 

If you request an exchange, after we receive the returned products and check that all the requirements of our return policy have been met, we will proceed with sending you the products you wish to receive in exchange for your order. You may exchange a product for another product of lesser, equal or greater value subject to the following conditions.

If the amount of the products selected in replacement is greater than the amount of the products returned, you will have to pay the price difference in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

If the amount of the products selected in replacement is less than the amount of the products returned, we will refund the price difference in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

If you request an exchange, the shipping costs for the first delivery will not be refunded. However, you will not be charged for the shipping costs of the second delivery on exchanges in case of defective or incorrect products, although customers outside the European Union are responsible for taxes and duties.

Only one exchange per item will be possible.

   6. Reservation of title

 

The products ordered remain the property of Aliki until full payment for the products has been received. You assume the risks (in particular regarding loss, theft or damage) relating to the delivered products from the moment they are delivered to the address specified when placing your order.

   7. Limitation of Liability

 

Under no circumstances we may be held liable for any damage or loss not resulting from a failure from our part to comply with one of our obligations.

   8. Governing Law

 

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Maltese law.
